Overview

Anthony (“Tony”) Pesce is a seasoned investment operations executive with more than 35 years of leadership experience across institutional investment management, custody, and wealth operations. A strategic and detail-oriented leader, he has deep expertise in developing and launching domestic and global investment products, managing enterprise integrations, and leading complex operational transformation programs.

 

At C&A Consulting, Mr. Pesce directs initiatives that strengthen investment operations frameworks and optimize organizational performance. His work blends hands-on operational leadership with extensive experience managing vendor relationships, streamlining business processes, and integrating technology-driven platforms for scalability and control.

Experience & Leadership

Mr. Pesce’s experience spans executive and consulting roles in large-scale operations, global product management, and investment systems integration:

 

  • FinTech Investment Platform Developer – Served as subject matter expert for a new global, unitized investment platform integrating onshore and offshore custody and transfer agency systems. Guided API and data model validation, sprint planning, and Agile development alignment to accelerate launch milestones.
  • $115B State Pension Fund – Program Manager for an enterprise-level Operating Model Review covering front-, middle-, and back-office functions. Led benchmarking and design recommendations to enhance scalability, funding workflows, and execution service models.
  • Lenox Advisors – Directed wealth management operations supporting $2.5B+ AUM, developing a holistic support model and multi-site operational framework.
  • J.P. Morgan Worldwide Securities Services (Custody Division) – Managed client service relationship teams supporting $1.5T in global assets under custody for institutional investment managers.
  • Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) – Executive Director and Asia Site Head, responsible for fund product development, operations, project management, and vendor oversight for a $660B AUM business. Served as operations lead for the integration of Van Kampen Investments ($110B AUM), designing an optimized, centralized global custody model leveraging Morgan Stanley’s trust company and third-party custodians.
