His technical background includes building SSIS packages for enterprise data integration, developing SSRS reporting tools, and managing database migrations across both relational and NoSQL environments, including XML and JSON updates from MongoDB. He is also highly experienced in automating manual operational processes using SQL-driven monitoring and PowerShell scripting to improve data accuracy, reliability, and system uptime.

 
Throughout his career, Merrick has led and supported large-scale system implementations and platform conversions, including transitions to Advent Geneva and Portia. His experience spans custom order-management system development, prime broker interface integration, and the maintenance of compliance-related data tools.
