Client Profile

A major asset manager engaged C&A to centralize, organize and deploy a state of the art data warehouse across 80+ disparate major vendor data flows and a wide range of architectures. 

 

C&A developed an architecture and ‘top of the house’ reporting capability across all portfolio managers and asset class strategies including innovative structured and unstructured data inclusion.

 

We proposed an organizational model, practices and detailed growth plan for sustainable technical  and data support.

The Plan leverages client intellectual property for targeted AI initiatives after several failed attempts.

Business Needs

The data environment was not consistent nor standardized across vendors. Data curation standards and quality varied. Each vendor repository had different protocols for accessing and updating data (API’s, flat files, data shares, etc.).  A comprehensive data audit trail  could not be produced. 

 

The firm was seeking a solution to:
